In Cushing’s amazing new collection, language is stuff of life itself, “always engaging and inventive, energetic, even startling, the poems in Tangled Hologram are the work of a poet at the top of his game” says Gail Wronsky. We are the happy recipients. James is “oracle, sage, master craftsman” and “these poems will make you young again.” It is a joy to welcome into the world the latest poems by this extraordinary poet.
Cahuenga Press, A Poets Publishing Cooperative, was founded in 1989. Its poet-members are James Cushing, Phoebe MacAdams Ozuna, Harry E. Northup, Jeanette Clough and the late Holly Prado Northup. The common goal of the press is to make poetry actual in the world in ways which honor both individual creative freedom and cooperative support. Tangled Hologram is their 29th book.
